Yes, the results certainly ARE in.
The plan was for Hobbesy to make the call to the clinic as my nerves couldn’t take it. So imagine my sudden panic at the library this morning when the clinic called my mobile. I had such a rush of adrenaline I had to go outside and sit on the steps to get the report.
30 out of the 36 fertilised . And look very good quality she said. More than they’d expect …60% would have been 22 I think
They check again later, will update us tomorrow.
She will freeze all but 8 today. And maybe freeze again later if there are spare 3 day embryos.
This is all very amazing. I’m not used to getting good news. The best news of all will be when Hobbesy is back on her feet, of course. Well, that and a nice pair of matching lines.
holy shit!!!!
30
wow!
KF is an effing rockstar. (well, and your dh should pat himself on the back as well ;-))
FANTASTIC report.

Lol, I told Mr DG this was a very good result, they wouldn’t usually expect 84% fertilisation, and he said smugly “Well they don’t normally have my sperm”
Ha ha.

A very nice cache’ of eggs going there! It does feel weird to get good news when you get so used to something else, doesn’t it?

That’s fantastic news. You said they froze all but 8 immediately. They didn’t feel they needed to be taken to 3 days first?

They said the results are better if you freeze early.. not sure if it was today or tomorrow they would do the freezing. At 2-cell I think they said.
